These terms apply to the website hanee.ae and the hanee app (together, “hanee”), provided by WIHDAT ALWAQI IT SERVICES L.L.C, Office M259, Saih Shuaib 2, Dubai Industrial City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trade licence 1378551. By using hanee you agree to them.
What hanee is
hanee is an independent guide that helps people discover restaurants and dishes in Dubai. It is not a restaurant, an ordering platform or a delivery service. We do not sell food, take orders or take payment for meals. A listing does not imply a partnership with, or an endorsement by, a restaurant, and the order of a list is not a ranking.
Menu information
Menus are read from each restaurant’s own website or published menu, and each dish shows the date it was read and its source. Restaurants change their menus, prices and opening hours, so what you find at the restaurant may differ. A price is shown only as printed on the menu on the date shown. Always confirm current details with the restaurant.
Allergies, diets and halal
hanee is not a medical or safety service. Information about ingredients, allergens and diets is not verified by us and may be incomplete or out of date. hanee never states that a dish is safe for an allergy. If you have an allergy or a dietary requirement, always confirm with the restaurant before you order or eat.
hanee does not suggest pork or alcohol dishes. It does not certify that any dish or restaurant is halal; confirm certification with the restaurant.
Suggestions in the app
The app’s suggestions are produced automatically from your profile and from the menu information we hold. They are suggestions only; the choice of what and where to eat is yours.
Your account
You can use the app as a guest or with an account. Keep access to your email secure, as it is how you sign in. You can delete your account in the app at any time. How we handle your information is explained in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not copy, collect or extract the directory in bulk, by automated means or otherwise, except as a search engine indexing public pages.
- Do not try to disrupt hanee, get around its limits, or access information that is not yours.
- Do not submit menus, photos or other content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.
Ownership
The hanee name, logo, design and software belong to WIHDAT ALWAQI IT SERVICES L.L.C. Restaurant names, menus and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown to identify the restaurant and its dishes. If you represent a restaurant and want a listing corrected or removed, write to support@hanee.ae.
Availability and changes
hanee is provided free of charge and as it is. We may change, pause or stop any part of it, and it may not always be available or free of errors. The app is in private testing and may change substantially.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, WIHDAT ALWAQI IT SERVICES L.L.C is not liable for loss arising from reliance on menu, price, ingredient or allergen information shown by hanee, or from the food, service or conduct of any restaurant. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will publish the new version here with a new date.
